Tips to improve fertility


Whilst everyone is different, the following principles are a helpful guide to those having difficulty conceiving:

Both partners:


  • Avoid caffeine and alcohol and keep weight within a healthy range.
  • Deal with any stresses in your life as best you can. Learn how to relax and breathe deeply through activities such as yoga, pilates and Qi-Gong. Listen to relaxation tapes as you go to bed
  • Don’t smoke!
  • Eat a well balanced diet that includes plenty of fresh, natural food (avoiding preservatives and additives as much as possible)
  • Invest in a probiotic (healthy bacteria) supplement
